If you just go inside the first door, but not up to that guy, i forgot his name, the back door won't close. In the second ed209 battle, where the droids are swarming you, don't go all the way through the tunnel. He will just stand there shooting at a crate, and you can just keep shooting him on the top of the head until he dies. maybe take a look at what they did.There's a spot on the map where you can stand and ED209 can't hit you, and won't move either. Pathway came to mind right away has having a similar "overworld" map. Needs more outlets, maybe dead ends, backtracking, teleporting, or just at least more multi-directional branching. The map needs some work as it really only provides 1 or 2 choices and then you're kinda locked in for the run. Something to make the car a little more flash, like customization options you earn by beating a boss. Needs at least a tutorial text that explains the shield/parry. Needs a better way for the player to see their heat level and charge level. Maybe consider some kind of "corrupted" mods that have drastic game-play changing powers but come with a cost like 1/2 shield or 1/2 health or double heat. The auto aim mod is probably a little overpowered. The star shaped baddies that fire a homing bolt, need to have some kind of a warning flash before they fire. Maybe like super harsh contrasting neon lights on the building, or the arena ring. Probably too easy, but if this is the first/easiest area that probably won't be an issue.Ĭould use a little more to break up the color scheme, give it some pop. Game definitely has bones, so congrats on that. I didn't really read what you have planned, but I did play through the demo 3 times.
